Located in the heart of Warley, for over 85 years, Warley Baptist Church is far more than a place of Sunday Worship.

The Warley Baptist Church family has continued to serve and provide a warm welcoming venue for the Community and beyond, offering a diversity of established groups and activities throughout the year.

Here at Warley Baptist we are extremely proud to have connected to the church, the 26th Birmingham Girls Brigade Company and 3rd Warley Boys Brigade Company. Throughout the week there are a number of established activities and meeting groups. These cater for the mature generation of the community, like Monday Movers, Knit & Natter and Thursday Morning Fellowship.

On Thursday mornings there is a stay and play session called PlayTime@Warley. This provides an essential weekly meeting point and a safe and happy environment for parents, carers, and children for young families across the community.

Warley Baptist Church plays host to many community events throughout the year, from Summer fairs to holiday clubs, the annual Bonfire and Fireworks display and various other festive events. There is a diversity of many community-based groups which regularly meet here at Warley Baptist throughout the year, from Pre-School, to Music and Dance groups, Health and Fitness and various indoor and outdoor activities.

At Warley Baptist Church

we try to practise the generous gospel of Jesus Christ.

This means you will be mixing with:

Seekers, searchers and those who have been bruised, those who rejoice and those who mourn, those who are worn out, burnt out and exhausted, those for whom life is filled with purpose and direction, those in fulfilling relationships and those who have failed to love, been cheated in love or who are afraid to receive love, those of various nationalities and sexualities, those who are strong in their faith and those who are besieged by questions and doubts, those rejected by other churches and those who have found meaningful community here for the first time, those who have broken their promises, those who have been betrayed, those bowed down with burdens, those for whom the grip of alcohol or work, drugs or sex, money or unnamed powers is getting stronger and those for whom that grip is loosening, and goodness knows how many others… indeed anyone like those who Jesus chose to spend time with.

This is not a private club – it is a community open to all people. And, though we are not yet strong and vulnerable enough to show the unconditional love of God at all times, we hope we are moving in the right direction
